GOING TO THE DOGS -- Janice Young, a member of the 4-H Piney Power Club, introduces Freeholder Joseph H. Vicari to Columbo, a Golden Retriever who soon will return to The Seeing Eye in Morristown to determine if he will be suitable for a career as a partner with a visually impaired person. The 4-H Piney Power Club has a mix of adult and student members who accept responsibility for house breaking and socializing a puppy in a variety of situations as they age from seven to 18 months. Sept. 12 the organization will start meeting after a summer break. Anyone interested in raising a puppy can attend the meeting which starts at 7 pm on the 2nd floor of the Ocean County Extension/Agriculture Building at 1623 Whitesville Rd. at Sunset Ave., or call 732- 349-1227 for more information.
