OCEAN COUNTY HOSTS 18TH ANNUAL POLISH FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders invites the public to attend the 18th annual Polish Flag Raising Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 2 at the Ocean County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Ave., here. “This ceremony commemorates the 217th anniversary of Polish Constitution Day,” said Freeholder Director Joseph H. Vicari. “This is a time for us all to reflect on not only the past accomplishments of the Polish Americans, but also their continuing contributions to Ocean County.” Also attending the ceremony will be the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard. The ceremony will begin in Room 119 and then move outside for the raising of the flag.
